A stranger came to our home,
She stole my nana’s sole.
Took the very special parts of her,
She’ll never again be whole.
She left her nothing but crumbs,
Dry and bitter to the taste.
Captured all the sweet sugar
With such malicious haste.
Names have fallen from her head,
Words linger longer on her lips.
With no sugar or goodness,
Skirts just slide off her hips.
The strangers poison flows in her,
Emitting vicious streaks.
She confides in the enemy,
Feeding it’s lying beak.
Often it gives her a little rest,
Long enough to remember my smile,
To sit and ponder over a brew
For just a little while.
I know our visitor will leave one day,
Just get up and walk away.
But with her she will take nana,
No matter how much I scream or pray.
aww hun thats lovely xx
